Level 2 Class
In this stage, We use custom textbooks to deliver lessons for Buddhism. Visual Media like pictures, videos will also be used to further enhance the children's learning process.
Who is this class for?
- Children who have passed the Key Stage 1 level will be admitted to Key Stage 2. The ideal age group will be year 8years to 11 years.

Homework:
Homework is usually set up each week on the lessons learned on the day, parents could expect some homework from the previous week’s lessons as well.
End of year expectation:
- Ability to identify, pronounce, write Sinhala language letters, words and sentences with the pillams.
- Can remember a few stanzas (Gatha).
- Having an understanding of the Sri Lankan culture.
- Children to have a knowledge of Buddha’s life.
- Children to have knowledge about the Biography of some characters.
- Children to have a basic knowledge about The Flag of Sri Lanka, Dharma Chakraya, and jathika Weerayo.
- Children to have knowledge of Sri Lankan culture and cultural festivals of Buddhists.
End of Year assessment:
Children will sit for an end of year Sinhala Language and Buddhism exams
