Dhamma School, Nottingham
Nottingham Dhamma School is held by Shanthi Vihara. Dhamma school is conducted on Sundays at St Patrick's Church Hall, Back Lane, Watnall Road, Nottingham NG16 1DS. This Sunday school is especially for Sri Lankan community in the Nottingham area. Currently, there are about 50 pupils studying at our Dhamma school.
However, we are currently holding the Dhamma School online only.
From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Three Hours including 15 minutes of interval.
Sinhala Lessons
Children are given Sinhala Lessons on a session.
Annual Assesments
All pupils are assessed at the end of the year.
5 Levels/Classes
Classes are divided into 5 sections including Primary Level.
Mindfulness Practice
Every Session includes a brief mindfulness session.
Visual Learning
Children can learn through visual materials.
Commencement
Dhamma School commences at 2:00 PM. All pupils are required to commence on time. Being punctual is the key of our discipline system. Our effort is to make every minute effective that you spend at the Dhamma school.

For Dhamma School pupils, refreshments are provided at 3:45 PM. For each Dhamma School day, refreshments are usually organised by parents. Every parent may contribute by confirming a convenient date to provide refreshments.
A single day may include multiple contributions. Please inform us if you wish to contribute for a particular date.

School Fees
Fees are collected in annual basis. We hire a separate venue for conducting the Dhamma School. The annual fee of £60 is collected as the hall hiring cost. The fee amount is for family despite having 2 or more children attending the Sunday School. Fees can be paid online or by bank transfer. alternatively you can hand over us on coming Dhamma school days.
